Having your own parking spot in Chicago is worth its weight in gold. I’ve stayed at fancier places downtown where parking cost more per night than this entire apartment. The neighborhood has that lived-in West Side vibe — there’s a decent taco place around the corner, and the grocery store is close enough that you won’t need to plan a whole expedition.

The Space Itself

The room setup works well for what it is — two bedrooms that actually fit real beds, not those cramped hotel doubles that leave you fighting for space. The kitchen is small but functional, which came in handy when we grabbed groceries and made breakfast instead of hunting for overpriced hotel food. I’ll be honest, the décor isn’t going to win any design awards, but everything was clean and the Wi-Fi actually worked properly. The living area gives you space to spread out, something you definitely don’t get in a standard hotel room downtown.

The free parking situation is honestly the biggest win here — I can’t stress enough how much of a relief it is to not worry about street parking or paying $40 a night at some downtown garage.   Property was in a fantastic location, was incredibly clean, and looked exactly like the photos, was extremely impressed. The bathtub here is also wonderful and we had no issues getting into the place. Sheet were soft, I slept well, and considering the location/setup of the unit, noise wasn’t the worst (there is a dog in the upper apartment who, as other reviewers mentioned would bark. That wasn’t a problem for us and was very very minimal)
