  The hotel has great ambiance and is very comfortable and clean. The area feels quite safe and I like that it's a few blocks away from the bustle of Michigan Ave but still has some activity at the restaurants within two blocks of the hotel. I arrived very early before check-in but my room was ready! The room amenities were great – the complimentary umbrella was important since there was a surprise downpour one morning and I enjoyed the robe and slippers offered. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows and the view from the total panoramic windows on 2 sides of the room from the 18th floor was great (they also provide room lightening and room darkening shades for sleeping and privacy). The hotel is also two blocks from a subway stop which makes getting to and from the airport pretty easy.

  The hotel is in walking distance of the sightseeing stops and shops. The room, on the 7th floor, was nice with the full window walls. The bed was ok. Close to the bus stop.
  The bathroom was good but the toilet was in front of the window and the shower had a glass wall into the room (which had a curtain).
