Logan Square Coach House Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to the Logan Square Coach House, you immediately get that “hidden gem” feeling — this isn’t your typical hotel experience. It’s tucked away on a quiet residential street in one of Chicago’s most vibrant neighborhoods, and honestly, that’s exactly what makes it special. The four-star property feels more like staying at a well-appointed friend’s place than a commercial hotel, which I mean in the best possible way.
The Logan Square Advantage
You know what’s great about this location? You’re right in the heart of Logan Square without dealing with the tourist crowds downtown. The neighborhood has this perfect mix of local coffee shops, craft breweries, and some seriously good restaurants within walking distance. I actually found myself spending way more time exploring the area than I initially planned — there’s the Logan Square Farmers Market on Sundays, and the Blue Line stop is close enough that getting downtown takes maybe 15 minutes. Couples seem to really get this vibe (they rate the location 9.5), and I can see why.
The Space Itself
The room setup here is what really sets this place apart from standard hotel chains. You’re staying in what feels like a private coach house — there’s character in every corner, from the original hardwood floors to the thoughtful design touches. The space is generous too, which you don’t always expect in Chicago accommodations. Everything feels intentional rather than cookie-cutter, and the attention to detail shows in small things like the quality linens and the way natural light fills the space during the day. The kitchenette is well-equipped for longer stays.
Practical Perks
Here’s something that’ll save you both money and headaches — free parking is included, which honestly feels like winning the lottery in Chicago. If you’ve ever tried to find street parking in Logan Square on a weekend, you’ll know exactly what I mean. The property consistently gets high marks from recent guests (9.8 rating), and after staying there, it’s not hard to see why. The hosts are responsive without being intrusive, and they clearly know their neighborhood well enough to point you toward the good stuff.
Why Guests Love It
What really works about Logan Square Coach House is how it balances that local, authentic Chicago experience with actual comfort and convenience. You’re not sacrificing anything by staying outside the downtown core — actually, you’re gaining access to a side of the city that most tourists miss entirely. The combination of the neighborhood’s energy, the unique accommodations, and those practical touches like the parking situation creates something that feels both special and sensible. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to plan your next Chicago trip just so you can stay there again. This apartment-style property delivers an unforgettable experience.
Savvy travelers reserve a hotel in Chicago before marathon weekend fills riverfront paths with cheering crowds.
