Walking up to Logan Square Oasis on North Spaulding Avenue, you immediately get why couples are drawn to this place. It’s not trying to be flashy or over-the-top — honestly, that’s part of its charm. This three-star spot sits quietly in one of Chicago’s most interesting neighborhoods, and you can tell right away that someone put real thought into creating something special here. The building has this understated elegance that feels authentic rather than manufactured.

The Logan Square Experience

You know what I love about staying here? You’re actually living like a local for a few days. Logan Square isn’t touristy at all — it’s where young professionals and artists hang out, where you’ll find some of the city’s best coffee shops and cocktail bars within walking distance. Revolution Brewing is practically around the corner, and the farmers market on Sundays becomes this whole neighborhood event. I mean, you could easily spend an entire weekend just exploring the area on foot without feeling like you need to venture downtown.

The Room

The room itself surprised me — in the best way possible. Everything feels thoughtfully designed without being precious about it. The space is clean and modern, but there’s warmth to it that you don’t always get in boutique places. The bed is genuinely comfortable (I’m picky about this), and the bathroom has those little touches that make you feel like someone actually cares about your experience. Natural light floods in during the day, which makes the whole space feel bigger than it probably is.

Location & Getting Around

Here’s the thing about the location — recent guests aren’t wrong when they rate it so highly. You’re on the Blue Line, so getting downtown takes maybe 15 minutes when you want that classic Chicago experience. But honestly, some days you won’t want to leave the neighborhood at all. There’s this great stretch along Milwaukee Avenue where you can grab dinner, drinks, maybe catch some live music, all without dealing with crowds or tourist prices. Parking isn’t the nightmare it can be in other parts of the city, which is a relief if you’re driving in.

Why Guests Love It

That 9.4 rating makes sense once you’ve stayed here. It’s not about having the fanciest amenities or the most Instagram-worthy lobby — it’s about getting the details right. The staff actually knows the neighborhood and can point you toward things you wouldn’t find on your own.   Property was extremely well stocked including kitchenware, tea and coffee etc. plenty of towels, blankets and even yoga mat and foam roller. There wasn’t anything that we were missing. Location was also great with lots of amenities and the cta blue line near by.
