What I love is that it feels like a real neighborhood, not just a tourist zone. You know what couples especially appreciate? The area comes alive at night but isn’t obnoxiously loud — perfect for romantic dinners and evening strolls along the Chicago River, which is just a few blocks away.

The Room Experience

The rooms here are thoughtfully designed in that understated Hoxton way. My room had these gorgeous floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the space with natural light, and the bed — well, let’s just say checkout time came way too early. The bathrooms feature rainfall showers that actually have decent water pressure (you’d be surprised how many hotels mess this up), and there’s a proper work desk if you need to get things done. The little touches matter too: quality linens, a coffee setup that doesn’t involve those terrible pod machines, and enough outlets placed where you actually need them.

The ground-floor restaurant and bar area becomes this buzzing social hub, especially during happy hour. The food is solid — not trying to be the fanciest place in the city, but everything I had was well-executed and reasonably priced for the area. The coffee is legitimately good (they take it seriously here), and the lobby seating areas are perfect for meetings or just people-watching. I actually ended up spending more time in these common areas than I expected, which says something about how welcoming they feel.

The private parking is a genuine lifesaver in this part of the city (trust me on this), and the staff seems to actually enjoy working there, which makes a huge difference in your experience.   This hotel has amazing bar and public spaces. The ground floor and rooftop are buzzing almost all the time.
  The area is super trendy, loads of great restaurants and bars around. Train easy from the airport. Out of the centre but good transport links and walkable in about 40 mins.

  The rooftop pool was a really incredible bonus amenity. And the staff everywhere was really pleasant and helpful. I also liked that I could see the pickleball courts next door from my room. Very amusing!

  Good location, and if you are a foodie, amazing location surrounded by a lot of top restaurants in Chicago.
  The place is busy but stay pretty quiet when you are inside your bedroom. And if you want to mingle, just go to the bar downstair in the lobby (or the cocktail club below) Friday or Saturday night, it is crazy packed.

  The breakfast was great. Loved the pool and view from the roof. Rooms were comfy and also plenty of space to move around and hang out without feeling cramped. Decor is modern and clean, enjoyed the art and decor in the hallways, especially the vintage bathing suits up by the pool. Staff was friendly and helpful, and having a coffee shop downstairs in the AM was super convenient
